Eastern Conference Finals Preview: Heat vs. Celtics
Two of the NBA's hottest teams will face off in the Eastern Conference Finals, as the Miami Heat take on the Boston Celtics.
The Heat have been on a tear since the All-Star break, going 24-6 and winning their last eight games. They are led by Jimmy Butler, who is averaging 21.4 points, 7.6 rebounds, and 6.2 assists per game. Bam Adebayo has also been a force for the Heat, averaging 19.9 points and 10.2 rebounds per game.
The Celtics, meanwhile, have been just as impressive since the trade deadline, going 23-7 and winning their last six games. They are led by Jayson Tatum, who is averaging 26.9 points, 8.1 rebounds, and 4.3 assists per game. Jaylen Brown has also been a key contributor, averaging 23.1 points, 6.6 rebounds, and 3.6 assists per game.
The Heat and Celtics have met twice in the regular season this year, with each team winning once. The Heat won the first meeting in Miami by a score of 106-94, while the Celtics won the second meeting in Boston by a score of 128-120.
The Heat will have home-court advantage in the series, but the Celtics have been playing very well on the road this season, going 22-13. This is sure to be a close and exciting series, and it could go either way.
